CLASSIC SKI WEEK WITH GUIDE SERVICE
We are offering our popular classic ski week package for groups or for the individual traveller who would like guiding and lodging at an all-inclusive price. Based on group with 1 guide to 5/max 6 clients ratio. We recommended a lower guide ratio having 1 Guide to 4 client ratio for the individual visitor for winter 2024.
We can easily adapt to the different levels of skiing and ability within the groups, since we will have several groups on the mountain each day. The Skiers Lodge Guide Service is willing to show riders what it considered to be the best lift access free riding in the world. All it takes is a spirit of adventure for you to share in the ultimate riding experience.
Each day all guides will attend a morning safety briefing and will provide full support in planning, safety and coordinating to ensure all have a successful day. If conditions are not ideal in La Grave, we use our mini buses to visit any one of the ten neighboring resorts with their own micro climates. All within 25 minutes to an hour’s drive by your guide. You may be guided to hidden off-piste spots in La Grave, Alp d’Huez, Vaujany, Serre Chevalier, Mongenevre / Claviere toward Sestrierre in Italy. We can even reach secret spots in the Queyras with their steeps, deeps and marvelous trees.
Our guide service may also propose a day or two ski touring during your ski week with us!
Winter Season 2024/2025
We recommend a lower guide ratio (guest per guide) within the group, with 1 guide to max 4 skiers ratio for the individual visitor for winter 2024. We found that reducing lower guide ratio as standard in group size is the perfect match! It is the lowest guide ratio that other guideservices provides and is basically unheard of comparing other guideservices world wide that provides guiding for free riding.
It has been in my mind for a long time to reduce the numbers of clients in group after all these years of guiding in this environment. After much deliberation with our team of guides and long time customers feed back. It’s time to try to play this policy.
There are safety advantages and measures.
- When entering exposed terrain and moving the group together within comfort zone that the terrain offers.
- More flexibility for terrain risqué management decision.
- There is advantage in exposing bigger group rather smaller group in exposed avalanche terrain and terrain traps within the comfort zone.
Practicality.
- Easier for the individual traveller to fill a group.
- Easier to fill a van with two groups for local transfer.
- More practical when renting a car for 4 person sharing to/from airports.
However, if a group of 5 to 6 friends are traveling together the standard classic week will run as normal with one guide to 5/max 6 skiers ratio! These groups need to be formed in advance by the guests who wish to book!

OPTION 1:
Based On 1 Guide to max 4 Skiers package which consists of 7 night stay with half board accommodation with 6-day guiding at an all-inclusive price for the individual visitor, couples, a ready formed group of four.
Price: Peak Season 1650 euro Per Person Per Week.
There is a 350 euros extra charge per week for single occupancy.
OPTION 2:
If a group of 5 to 6 friends are traveling together the standard classic week will run based on 1 Guide to 5/max Clients. This group package which consists of 7 night stay with half board accommodation with 6-day guiding at an all-inclusive price for the group. These groups need to be formed in advance by the guests who wish to book!
